All interested Krueger 5th graders may enroll in the Northside ISD Elementary String Program. Orchestra is a yearlong commitment and is taught twice a week before and after school during the Fall and Spring Semesters. Learning to play a string instrument can be a wonderful experience and will help improve your child’s individual study habits, reading and listening skills, self-confidence, creative thinking skills and fine motor skills. Sign-up forms are on the music room door. All String Lessons are free. Students must provide their own instrument and instruction book. The Cavalier Orchestra performs numerous concerts at Krueger and at Jefferson Middle School through-out the school year.
Important Orchestra Dates:
Parent Orientation: Jefferson Middle School, Thursday, Sept. 5, 2024 @ 6 p.m. Orchestra Classes: Twice a week on Wednesday and Thursday. Class #1 meets on W/Th from 7:00 a.m. – 7:45 a.m. Class #2 meets on W/Th from 3:15 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
