Gracie-M Espinoza - Principal
My name is Gracie Espinoza and I am honored to be the Principal at Leon Springs ES. It is such a pleasure to work with such an amazing group of students, parents, staff and community. At Leon Springs ES, we are committed to making a difference...everyday, in every classroom, every student. I am originally from El Paso, TX and came to San Antonio to attend college. In 2004, I graduated from UTSA with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a specialization in early childhood education. I began my teaching career in NISD and loved every minute of it!! In 2010, I received my Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I decided to continue my journey and return to UTSA in 2012 to get a second Master’s degree in Administration.

In my free time, I love to spend time with those that I love the most...my super supportive family and incredible friends. I enjoy going out to eat and trying different restaurants in town, traveling and exploring new places, shopping, and working out!

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. I look forward to working together and making this an exceptional year full of joy, success, and growth.

Hello Longhorns!

My name is Joshua Kuhlmann and this is my third year serving as Associate Principal of Leon Springs Elementary. I was born and raised in Holmen, Wisconsin and graduated from Winona State University in 2007 with a Bachelor's in Education. From there, I moved to San Antonio where I spent nine years as a classroom teacher in NISD. I earned my Master's degree in Educational Leadership in December of 2016 and am proud to call Leon Springs Elementary my home.

I strongly value the relationships I have built with both the community and students at LSE, as this truly is a special place to be. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to email me. I'm looking forward to a great year!
