STEM Education in Northside ISD
Northside ISD’s STEM Education program provides students with hands-on, real-world learning experiences that integrate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Through inquiry-based instruction, problem solving, and design thinking, students develop critical thinking and collaboration skills that prepare them for future academic and career success.
At the elementary level, each campus has a dedicated STEM lab where students participate in activities and design challenges that spark curiosity and creativity using knowledge from classroom instruction and tied to a variety of STEM careers.

STEM Education at Lieck ES
STEM is a rotational Discovery Time class that allows students to innovate, problem solve, collaborate, communicate, and discover solutions. During STEM, students are challenged to apply appropriate tools and concepts of science, technology, and math to justify their engineering design based on evidence and logical reasoning. In STEM, we explore topics such as: Growth Mindset, Teamwork, Coding, Robotics, Engineering, and Career Exploration. It's a great place to be for today's 21st century kid.
