Lieck Strings is an ensemble of 5th grade beginning violin students, directed by Music Specialist Shannon Parramore. We meet Tues/Thurs mornings before school from September through May. Performances are held several times throughout the year. We perform concerts for the student body at Lieck and at PTA events, as well as at combined concerts with the Bernal MS Orchestra.

This year's levy to fund maintenance and operations expenditures exceeds last year's maintenance and operations tax levy.
Northside Independent School District ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.
THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.05 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $30.00.
