NISD Transportation to and from Alternative Middle School

All students are required to ride the bus to and from NAMS each day.  During enrollment, NAMS staf will send a request form to the NISD transportation department for routing and scheduling.  The transportation department will contact parents to provide information regarding pick up/drop off times and locations.

Students who do not ride the bus for three consecutive days will be discontinued from bus service until the parent contacts NISD transportation at 397-0871 to resume service.

All NAMS policies, including standardized attire, are in effect for the duration of the bus ride to and from school. 


Tax Rate Notice
This year's levy to fund maintenance and operations expenditures exceeds last year's maintenance and operations tax levy.
Northside Independent School District ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.
THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.05 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $30.00.
