Garden Club

Mrs. Kuivenhoven
Meeting Time/Location
D208, Mondays, 4:15 - 5:00 p.m.

The Garden Club gives you an opportunity to get outside and enjoy nature and become more knowledgeable about how to care for the environment. We will learn about plants and the conditions that help them grow well by planting seeds and plants from the Bexar County Master Gardeners. We also have established butterfly gardens that are used to learn about native plants and wildlife.

We make a practice of harvesting what we grow to make fresh meals, like salads, soups, salsa and flavored bread. In Garden Club, we help you make the connection between what we grow and what ends up on your plate. Contact Mrs. Kuivenhoven at for questions or more information.
