Cardboard Arcade 2nd Grade

  • Students will work in pairs to design arcade-type games
  • Students will think through game design, strategies for success, rules, and prize systems
  • Students will run their games at their school carnival or at a family event, such as science night
  • Sometimes teachers prefer to format this club into four weeks with meetings twice a week.  This is an approved format.

This year's levy to fund maintenance and operations expenditures exceeds last year's maintenance and operations tax levy.
Northside Independent School District ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.
THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.05 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $30.00.
