I am truly honored and privileged to be the Associate Principal at Knowlton Elementary! It is a blessing to be part of such an amazing community of teachers, staff, parents, and students. I am extremely excited about working closely with Ms. Olvera to ensure the academic, social, and emotional success of our Knights.

I am originally from El Paso, Texas. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in International Relations from the University of Southern California. I graduated with my Masters in Educational Leadership from Concordia University in Austin, TX.

I previously served as the Vice Principal at Ellison Elementary School for three years. Prior to serving as an Administrator I was a Pre-K, 2nd and 4th grade Bilingual Teacher. I was also very fortunate to have had the opportunity to serve at Leon Valley Elementary School as the Math Specialist for three years.

I truly believe in the importance of education and in the great responsibility our teachers hold in guiding our children. I believe that education is the key to success and my hope is that I will be able to keep motivating students to enjoy school and continue their education. I aim to spread the love for learning and knowledge, as well as to inspire students and staff to do their best and exceed their own personal limits.

I look forward to getting to know each one of our "Knights" and their families while making many more great memories TOGETHER!
