Available for fourth and fifth grade students:
The robotics team is looking for up and coming 4th and 5th grade students that are highly motivated and hardworking that would like to be part of an amazing team. We work with building and programming robots from the ground up using materials and software that has been developed by Lego. Our students learn to problem solve and use a variety of skills such as coding, were they will continue to develop from year to year. Our robotics team will open the door to a whole new set of careers for the future.
The robotics team frequently participates in the FIRST LEGO League competition. This competition is made up of different components which involve a research project, presentation, team building, and robotic game challenge. The students compete in teams of 6 to 8 students and is a qualifier for a much larger competition.
The team will consist of two coaches that will support and guide our students throughout the year. We look forward to providing a rich and fun learning environment that will motivate our students. Our program will continue to grow in the future and we look forward to working together to enrich our students’ lives.

El equipo de robótica está buscando estudiantes prometedores de 4to y 5to grado que estén muy motivados, sean trabajadores y que quieran formar parte de un equipo increíble. Trabajamos con robots de construcción y programación utilizando materiales y software que ha sido desarrollado por Lego. Nuestros estudiantes aprenden a resolver problemas y utilizan una variedad de habilidades como la codificación, donde continuarán desarrollándose año tras año. Nuestro equipo de robótica abrirá la puerta a un nuevo conjunto de carreras para el futuro.
El equipo de robótica participa con frecuencia en la competencia FIRST LEGO League. Esta competencia se compone de diferentes componentes que implican un proyecto de investigación, presentación, trabajo en equipo y desafío de juego robótico. Los estudiantes compiten en equipos de 6 a 8 estudiantes y califica para una competencia mucho más grande.
